Parents, Carers & Students

At St Peter’s we want to make sure you have all the information you need to ensure your child’s progression, happiness and safety. On this section of our website you will find a host of information to explore - from a breakdown of our curriculum to key policies, uniform and info on the tools we use to enhance your child’s learning experience.

Understanding and knowing how your son/daughter is progressing at school is of paramount importance to us as a school and you as parents/carers.  Monitoring attendance, rewarding behaviour and reporting on achievements are now a part of every day school life.  To aid this communication we now have a dedicated attendance team, an electronic rewards system (e-Behave) and we report on attainment at regular intervals to ensure you have the information to help in your son/daughter’s development.

To make this communication even more effective and efficient we have now invested in a website to enable to you to receive all of this information in one place.  www.MyChildAtSchool.com, allows you to log in to a unique account that updates behaviour and attendance every 10 minutes, thus providing a live update on your child at school.  This is a secure website and you will be provided with a personalised username and password when your child starts at St Peter's School.

Please use our online form to request your MCAS Login Details.

Assessment

We assess students’ academic progress continually, in order to communicate this with you; we use an online, web-based system called Go4Schools.

Using Go4Schools, you will be able to view your child’s progress online and access the following information at any time:

  • Real-time attainment information – marks and target grades for all subjects throughout the year.
  • Timetable – Your child’s daily and weekly timetable.
  • Attendance – Shown from the start of the academic year (for AM and PM registration only).
  • Progress Reports – Full written reports which are published once a year. These include the Working Towards Grade, Projected Grade and the Target Grade.

Your child’s page is constantly updated, providing you with the latest information.

To access the site, please go to www.go4schools.com and click on the Parents icon at the top of the main page to arrive at the log-in screen. The email address you use to enter the site must be the one we have registered in our database for you.

If you require any assistance in accessing the site please do get in touch with the school and we will ensure you get the support you need.
