St. Peter’s school believes in providing:
"A broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum that is accessible to all our students, regardless of ability and is constantly evolving in line with national developments. We aim to provide a truly personalised curriculum that empowers our students with the skills they need to develop their talents and achieve their full potential."
In March 2017, OfSTED judged much of our day-to-day teaching as being good as shown below:
"Teachers have a thorough understanding of their subject and the national expectations about what pupils should know and understand in the different key stages. Teachers use this knowledge to plan effective learning experiences and assessments, which allow pupils to develop new knowledge and skills and practise these over time."
If you would like to find out more about our curriculum please explore the links to the left. You can contact the school office or the appropriate Head of Year and Student Support Manager for more information.
We organise a wide range of extracurricular activities to develop our students skills, talents, interests and expereince and to help them take a greater ownership of thier learning and future.
These opportunities include clubs in and after school, school trips, sports fixtures and charity events.
Please look at the download section to the left for details of the clubs taking place in school and the trips on offer this academic year.
